Lionel Train 157 Station Platform

The Station Platform No. 157 replaced the No. 156 Station Platform in 1952 and would be available until 1955. An additional production occurred in 1958 and 1959. Unlike the No. 156 this platform’s base and roof used injected plastic instead of Bakelite. The roof supports remained die cast metal, however, they were chemically blackened instead of being painted. spacer Designed to be a substitute for a small station or to be used in conjunction with the No. 132 or No. 133 stations, early versions would have this illuminated platform’s base a MAROON color, while the later editions would have a RED base.
