I ordered quite a few collector assembly shoes for my 2026 Locomotives. Very easy to install. I repair my trains myself. Living in NJ, one Lionel Tech. wanted a $150.00 right off the bat for bench work. Which doesn't include parts. If you can do it yourself, by all means. You will save yourself a lot of money and you will know it's done right.
